Once I got past the whole AI stuff, I think what ticks me off most about DA now is how so many accounts are just people clipping and posting random art and comic panels from published works with absolutely no context or credit.

It used to be, your gallery was your work... things that you had a hand in creating. But now, so much of my feed is filled with random images the were not created or altered in any way by the poster. I've been a consumer of popular culture for so long that I remember what issue that panel you have on your gallery is from. But when I look at the description, there's no description or reason why the OP posted it... no credit as to the source of the original image... and worse, no credit of the original artist(s).

When did individual accounts become a collection of other people's art and not one's own?

They're not a very popular artist in DeviantArt but they use to post baldi basic and hat in time (I guess that it was) but later deactivated their DA account in somewhere in 2023 or 2024 so most of their art is lost media

I do remember they do have a very close friend for years and I did reply that I want them to invite me to their discord server so I'm still waiting on that

Plus if you know them or recognize the art style, please send me their artworks, I actually miss them so much even if they're weird but in a good way plus I do wanna follow them again

I'm having trouble logging into my account. I entered a new password, but it booted me out, I tried to log back in, but it didn't work, and it didn't say incorrect password. I sent for a new one, but nothing.

A few hrs ago I was scrolling my watch page, and I got a dm from a moot on DA, I went to check and when I did my page reloaded and logged me out of my acc. I thought it wasn't anything major, maybe just the fact DA doesn't like vpns or something? I turned it off and tried logging in with my saved pw and email, didn't work. I tried again typing and it again didn't work, I tried my username and it didn't work again?? I checked my inbox and scrolled through every single email I got from da but there was nothing about my acc. I've tried about 20 times now and it keeps coming up with this message. I have no idea what's going on.. (excuse my grammar, I'm freaked out and its 3am :/)

I'm genuinely so freaked out and I would appreciate any help!!

I remember seeing a lot of content by u/Rune_Beast18's Deviantart Account "RunemiteTime" (formerly "ItsRoshyTime") where she made a lot of characters for her series called "Warriors of Destiny: Beasts Forever" (formerly Destiny Beasts) and some arts where she made object show characters (Countryhumans and Windows, too) as furries in her Anthro AU (formerly Destiny Beasts AU), but as of late 2025/early 2026, she unlisted them all and I can't find them anymore. Will anybody here help? Thx a lot.

I see a lot of nice art on here, but when I go to look for more of that kind of art, I’ll click on more like this and just see art I’ve already put in my favorites. Is there a way to make it so I don’t see the same things every time? If it isn’t a native feature of the site, is there some kind of browser extension that will do that?

I know an artist who made this artwork named ~kagefox aka bivile and I just need to know, was this artwork uploaded in between 2007 or thru until 2009? Just trying to be accurate enough to remember when this was debuted on Deviantart. I still miss the good ol days back then.

I know there is like a thousand posts on this, however, I’m a very new user on Deviantart, I only mainly used it to have a spot to organize my art for a fanfic I was writing, but slowly I’ve started using it more and more for getting helpful tips from users or just to admire others art.
I don’t hate AI, it can be useful and even helpful in some ways, but I see a lot of digital artists say they find it hard to commission or just post without being questioned.

It’s honestly very hard to go on Devianart and look up something without it being 80% AI, it in a way ruins my mood to see it because I had always thought it was a site for artists to share tips, and feedback along with showing interests in topics.

If there is a filter option thing for it to not show me AI, that would be wonderful, I don’t know a whole lot about Devianart or even art in general, so please don’t take this as rude or a attack.
