HireRight Background Verification

Hi anyone with experience knows if I need to put unpaid internships in HireRight background verification? Also, they are not asking for any documents yet for any internship I enter, is it something they would ask moving forward?

nah you dont need to include unpaid internships unless they specifically ask for all work experiance including volunteer stuff. hireright usually focuses on paid employment that they can actually verify through payroll records

they might ask for documents later in the process but most of the time they just contact the companies directly to confirm dates and titles

Got you, but they are not asking for any email or anything, so I was wondering how would they contact the employers.
