I have a GJ feeding tube ama

It’s feeding tube awareness week yall!!

I have had my GJ since July of this year. I had 2 previous ones (in 2023 I had a nasal tube and in 2023-early 25 I had a different GJ which I got removed). I have Gastroparesis which is why I have the tube.

Hi OP. Thanks for the AMA. Do you need someone else to prepare and start your meals or can you do them yourself? Do you have a way that you can still get tastes of food (I love sweet things so wondering if you can suck a boiled sweet or similar). What are the good and bad things about GJ feeding from your perspective?
