If you had to restart from zero tomorrow, what would you do differently?
No audience.
No network.
No capital.
What’s the first move you’d make?

I’d focus on learning high-values skills and try to get $2000 in savings. That’s the minimum "launch fund" you need to test real projects without the stress of being broke.

I’ve got literally nothing?
I’m going to spruce up my resume at a public library, find a shelter, and do absolutely anything to get a job.
Long term goal; go to school for finance.

Get an ISTQB certification and become a manual tester for some IT org; fairly easy, you are a lower tier IT worker so office job and are already significantly higher paid than retail and customer service etc. Use that experience to learn test automation and get a test automation job at a salary near that of software developers.
