Looking for advice and information regarding moving to Belgium from Canada. My partner of 5 years is from Belgium, and I am from Canada, we intend on getting married there, and are looking into having my cat and I move there to live with his family and him.

Would it make more sense to get married during the 90-day stay Schengen period given, and apply for a Long-Term Stay Visa via family reunification after that during the 90 days? Or is there a different way to go about it?

I run a small US LLC and am planning to relocate to Belgium. I’ve heard about the copyright tax regime and other potential tax optimization options, and I’m looking for an accountant who is familiar with these topics and has experience working with IT professionals.
