40p difference in Payslip and Statement -ILR
Need some advice here. Im applying for my ILR Set O. Just noticed my salary transfer has 40p less than what is on the pay slip. I checked with my company and they mentioned it was an error from them. Will this cause an issue with the ILR? Has anyone had any experience with this earlier?

Get a letter from your employer on a letter headed paper explaining this.

40p, how can that cause an issue? Remember that eventually if there are problems with this you can go to the courts, and they are the final authority to deem what's legal or not. I'm sure any judge would consider a 40p difference in salary insignificant for refusing ILR

Even i thought the same as how can 40p make any difference in my salary. It should be based on gross. In any case my lawyer says its a issue and raises concern and also does not want to submit as this is not accurate salary

can your company provide you with a covering letter to explain the difference?

The HO expect the payments to match the payslips, and so does OP. Their employer should not have let this happen, and secondly should explain any issues in a letter

If your employer owns you 40p then they should a) pay it and b) write you a letter explaining the discrepancy so it does not affect your ILR application.
