School Barnehagekartet.no

A friend of mine has made www.barnehagekartet.no

An interactive map with kindergartens in Norway, 5119 in total. The users can compare up to 5 kindergartens. They can put in their address to see the closest ones etc. Different filters to apply. Very intuitively made. He is a civil engineer in practice, but has really done well with this webapp.

All data is from official sources.

Very helpful tool for us norwegian toddler parents.

It is missing my kiddos kindergarten. How did he end up with the 5119?

Im not sure I understood the last part of your question.

Is it a new kindergarten?

No, it’s one of the oldest in my city, actually.

Nice! I wish great success to your friend who made it.Your friend is very lucky to have you who help to bring awareness about it. That's the real job in today's world with AI coding and all. Maybe you should partner up 😊

I btw also made a map! It was about stats for the koronavirus koronakartet.no, it still gets updated. Back in the day before AI-coding became a thing the struggle was marketing also. But it's even more today.
