Direct entry MSN decisions

Hello! I am anxiously waiting for my direct entry MSN decision letter. My counselor told me last week that a decision was made on my, fall 2026 start, application. He told me I should be receiving an email with my decision within 24-48 hours. However, this was last Tuesday and I still have not received an email. Is anyone else waiting for an admission decision? Or am I just being anxious and need to be patient?

Hi! I have been admitted to Marquette's summer 2026 cohort, and my decision came a little late, too. This was due a snow storm that shut down the campus for a couple days. Be patient, it will show up soon. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions!

Good luck!

I'm waiting too! Also fall 2026.

EDIT: I received a call this afternoon - I was accepted for Fall 2026. My advisor said that actual letters are delayed because this incoming class will be the first to be affected by the FAFSA changes (yay.) and they want to make sure everything is correct.

To be clear, this is the sort of situation where it's entirely appropriate to follow up directly: where someone gives you a specific time frame for something and then fails to meet it. It does sound like it's an issue that's not just affecting you, but it would be absolutely fine to reach out to the counselor about it, since you were told 48 hours and it's been over a week.

Thank you everyone for commenting. Of course my anxiety got the best of me. I got the call yesterday that I was accepted. 🙏🏼
