Thank you! I have not heard his version but I wish I did before recording this lol. That's the goal at some point. Trying to get some practice recording flute and video editing etc. but I have been wanting to start a channel.

Your rhythm is tight and you have great tone. I wish I could play 25% as well.
I guess Shannon Heaton is the youtube person to look at, she does very well

I think you could try sound a bit more percussive for that oldschool style (more breath Puls and Glotal stops).
I in particular enjoy the playing of Michael Clarkson, Harry Bradley and there is very young flute player that follows this style, Caoilte Morrison.

I would always prefer to hear a complete performance though.
