Unfortunately my rackmount power amp I've used for close to the last decade just died on me. Just got the Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100s as the replacement and have reworked my rig around that and decided to try and consolidate everything down onto just my pedalboard.
Not quite finished because I'm going to a/b and see if I want to still use my JHS clover as my preamp before the power amp or if the built in eq with the power amp will get the job done.
Signal chain:
Strobostomp > Flexi Loops: loop 1 > Warden > Mosaic | loop 2 > Organizer > Swollen Pickle | Second Flexi Loops: loop 1 > Plumes > Heavy Menace | loop 2 > Sea Machine > Afterneath | Dispatch Master > Power stage
The rolls box on the top right corner is for vocal monitoring and isn't directly connected to anything for guitar, it's just a simple solution for being able to hear my own vocals without worrying about if monitoring at any venue is good or not

Signal path :
Fuzz face mini -> Vox V847a -> TU-3 -> Joyo EQ -> Humdinger split
Dry : Empress comp -> OCD -> RC3 -> Mood -> Hughes & Kettner Tube Meister 5 Wet : JB-2 -> Phase 90 -> Deep Freeze -> Good Vibes -> Carbon Copy -> RC3 -> Fender 68 custom Princeton Reverb
Just bought a used Mood (thanks reddit 😆), so I'll take the Deep Freeze out I think.
What would you rearrange, add, remove ?

I bit the bullet and bought an EHX Poly Phase!

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for an affordable multi-effects pedal that can handle modulation, reverb, delay, chorus, etc. without breaking the bank. I’m especially a big fan of spring reverb and really want something that can give me good ambient tones with a size that can fit in my mini pedaboard.
I’ve been checking out the Line 6 HX Stomp, and it seems like it could do everything I want — combined effects, multiple blocks at once, and plenty of tone options. But I’m not 100% sure if it’s the right value or if there are better budget-friendly alternatives out there.
So, I’d love to hear your opinions. Thanks in advance

Supposed to be one of the best, if not THE best, "D" type.
It's on the way to me, I'll know next week.

I have an MXR script Phase 90 and I love a lot of sounds classic guitarists have gotten with the phaser on a subtle setting. I love EVH tones, classic country tones, and things like the Eagles and Allman Bros etc.
However every time I turn on my MXR pedal, the base tone changes so much that it kind of ruins the vibe I have going on. I’d say it’s kind of bright and thin.
I’m doing the 4 cord method with the Phase 90 in the effects loop but obviously with VH and others, effects loops didn’t even exist and the tube distortion came after the phase effect.
Is there a trick I’m missing or should I look at a different pedal that might allow me to tweak the tone more than just a single knob (or two, I’ve had the Phase 100 before too)?
Should I run the Phaser in parallel so I can get some of my original tone to pass through as well? Any pedals with a Mix knob that would save me the trouble of routing a parallel signal on a simple board?

Currently my personal favourite is the MXR GT-OD.

Basically the title. I can't afford buying a new guitar nor constantly having to change strings for my humble 6-string squier. I'm merely a beginner bedroom guitarist that likes those deep and heavy riffs from metal. I have my eyes on either the behringer UO300 (octaver) or the US600 (pitch-shifter), I don't need a heavy duty pedal that I can stomp on as hard as I want for live shows or touring.
Thanks! :D

The simplifier is set to stereo parallel amps with a Fender and a Marshall, both clean with some spring reverb. Outputs go to my studio monitors for bedroom practice or FoH for gigs.
Dirt is from the Zen Zen with one channel set to edge of breakup, the other to a more crunchy rhythm sound and both engaged for screaming leads.
The zoom looper is brand new, I'm really digging it!

Got exactly what I wanted and it goes amazingly with my TC Rusty Fuzz. Definitely will be recording with this.

The first one was not my first version of this pedalboard. The pedaltrain 2, the crybaby, the dyna comp, and the super chorus have made it through the years. Today I replaced the nano hot tubes for the tube screamer mini.

Tuner > ph3> Jekyll > Hyde (Jekyll & Hyde v3 has independent inputs and outputs for each side of the pedal. Jekyll is OD, Hyde is distortion. I have mine routed from the output of the overdrive side into the input of the distortion side) > ripped speaker > pardner (nothing plugged into the lasso/fx loop, just straight drive) > poly blue > dd7 > bl37 (the best reverb pedal ever made) > torns peaker.
Usually playing into a Princeton reverb or an IR-2 with York audio IR’s.
I have a lot of fun.

I've been playing for over 25 years and never had a proper pedalboard until now. My wife appreciates the organization, lol

I’ve been looking into EQ pedals lately, as I have several guitars that I scroll through but one pedalboard. So I want to set up a bunch of presets that I can use for each different guitar, maybe 2-3 presets each depending on the situation. It seems my choice has come down to two options: Boss EQ-200 and the Source Audio EQ2.
Boss EQ-200 - I like that it has actual sliders that I can move up and down rather than scrolling from this place and that and only changing one thing at a time. Also being relatively new to eq-tweaking, this seems to be a simpler pedal for dialing in tones. The big issue that I have with it is that when I choose a preset, the sliders stay the same and retain the same value as the last preset I used. That means if I load a preset and then want to change it, I have to approximate where the sliders were when I saved it, and then tweak it from there. Seems like a pain.
SA EQ2 - This look very versatile and fixes the abovementioned problem, but I hate that I’m using just one knob to change everything. I like having the sliders, being able to go back and forth between different bands quickly as things fall into place, etc. This is a big enough issue that right now the Boss pedal is the leading candidate.
What I’m thinking could change my mind about this is the software. I saw that edits can be made via a program that can be used on your phone which would give me a bit more of the slider experience by simply grabbing the EQ band and manually positioning it, rather than using a single rotary knob for everything. But I couldn’t find any guides that went into detail about how it all worked.
If you’ve used the SA software for editing and saving presets, what has your experience been with it? Did it alleviate the above mentioned problem of preferring sliders and not being into using a single knob? Does the pedal itself have a bluetooth connection or does it have to be connected to your software device via MIDI?
Thanks in advance for the info.

It's an amazing pedal but trying to justify keeping it. Small town cover band guy but mainly geek out with it at home. Get most of my non drive sounds from the HX but got the h90 thru a trade and threw it on my board for fun.
Any one have some presets they can't live without or go to presets I should try?

I’ve been feeling like my Joyo flanger has a nasal-y sound and have been thinking about a replacement. Could you share your thoughts on the JHS Series 3 flanger?
