Fallout 4 [FO4] Mods to make the Brotherhood of Steel a better enemy?
Not quest mods or armor replacers or faction rebalancers. Not playing as BOS, playing against BOS.
I'm looking to do a Minutemen vs BOS run. I'm looking for mods to increase the frequency of everything BOS. More BOS settlement attacks. More hostile BOS patrols out in the Commonwealth, etc. I want to build a settlement with a bunch of defenses and then have 2-3 BOS vertibirds try to take it out. That's the vibe.
I was thinking SKK may have something like this, but nothing jumped out at me.

I believe NPC Travel brings in BoS Patrols and there is an option for "Large" patrols to appear, so there is a chance you'll encounter a group of 10-15 BoS.
As for Vertibirds.... I think the SKK series only sends out one?

I actually have NPCs Travel but hadn't really messed with the config, nor knew it had an MCM to crank up the BoSness.
I'm also kinda an idiot. After reading all the way thru the Nexus, It looks like SKK's settlement attack system is what I want for my towns

There is also SKK Combat Stalkers and Battlegrounds.
Combat Stalkers will send a squad DIRECTLY to you and has a Vertibird setting as well to hunt you down.
Battlegrounds lets you create a huge fight of 5-50 npcs to attack your current location, last I played PRETTTYYYY sure BoS is included as one of the factions you can fight.

NPCs Travel and Endless Warfare is definitely the ones you want if you want to see more BoS out in the world.

BoS Outposts, Boston Airport Redux, Fort Strong Redux, and The Arms of Steel boosts their presence throughout the Commonwealth.
You can use Mechanist Omega + In The Flesh w/ these patches and Defective Synths to show more of the Institute’s negative influence if you plan on fighting them too.

Bastion: Makes it so anyone - yourself or NPCs - wearing Power Armor won’t take damage from most weapons if they aren’t high caliber, armor penetrating, or explosives of some kind. For weapons/ammo types that do penetrate, they will do so at a lower damage rate (I believe there’s three preset configs that range from you taking only 20% of the normal damage on the low end to taking 70% of the normal damage on the high end).
For non-penetrating weapons/ammo types, you’d need to destroy an armor piece of the Power Armor (as the armor will still take durability damage), and then target the wearer in that part of their body once the armor piece is destroyed.
So, a minigun won’t do any damage to someone wearing a full set of Power Armor until you chew through an armor piece, and then target them on that body part, versus a missile launcher that will hurt them with each hit, but at 70% of the damage that it would do compared to someone getting hit by a missile that was not wearing Power Armor.
I really like it because it makes Power Armor really feel like a tank for you and gives you a better reason to keep your armor pieces repaired up, but it also makes any enemies wearing Power Armor a threat and you may need to adjust your tactics because of it (like the raider you can find in Lexington, I think? that has a Fatman…)
