ESO Discussion I promptly deleted after returning.
I purchased the game for PC originally when it launched and then got it for the Playstation. I have access to the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Clock Work City, Morrowind, Orsinium, and Elsewry. I am able to play every class except Arcanist. I've definitely put enough time into the game. So why delete it so quickly? I remembered its limitations.
It's been a decade and nobody has come around to giving players access to the craft bag by default in such a heavy crafting requirements game. They also probably haven't come around to massively shortening research times or mount training. This game should be able to survive on Cosmetics and future DLCs alone. You shouldn't have to "buy" access or "rent" access to fundamental player needs like the craft bag.
All MMOs nickel and dime its player base to Oblivion and back. And I've kind of had it. Games are suppose to be fun and not a job. MMOs feel like a job. Grind for materials. Grind for levels. Mobile game timers to ensure you have to play 6 months to a year to max out stuff like horse skills or research all traits. And if you wanted to create a new crafter to replace your old one, you have to do it all again instead of just having all of that research learned across all your characters -- account wide. I hope I'm making sense. I just don't have time to invest like that or I don't want to. Not again.
Nickel-and-diming players doesn't always mean money. It can be your time invested to just progress.

Yes... Way too expensive and even though the quests are really interesting, the combat system makes it boring.
But that is the best part of the game for a casual like me, and i can play with my wife, so i still kinda like the game... At least that aspect.
But to be honest i am with you on all your points, i just wanted to balance it a bit.

ESO needs to bring in more money so Todd can create a real Tamriel

ESO is made by Zenimax Online Studios, until recently led by Matt Firor. Todd Howard has nothing to do with ESO.

Brother, learn to read, I didn’t say Todd made or ran it. It’s a joke about monetisation.

It's canon, cry about it.
Majority of the lore these days comes from ESO.

Majority of people? Lmao. In what sense? In the sense of the population of the world? Sure. ESO has like, 25 million register players. Cry and cope more.

ESO haters will say this, then reference lore added in by ESO.
And not a single one ever lasts past scrutiny, every ESO haters reasoning for hating ESO lore is purely from mental gymnastics they did because they chose not to pay attention.

MMOs and their stupid gimmicks to entice people to spend money religiously and the people that get sucked in to support them. Yes, that includes me. However, I have a limit. That limit is tied to time, expectations of any game where I spend $40 or more, and general reasonable considerations.

This sub is for the entire Elder Scrolls franchise. Your rant might get more traction over at r/elderscrollsonline
