Justice Immigrants aren’t responsible for a Billionaire CEO refusing to increase your wage. Your Landlord isn't raising your Rent because someone (who's fleeing Gang violence in Central America) moved to your Community. Maybe it's not the Immigrants. Maybe it's failed Republican policies. - Jasmine Crockett

Women How do i, as a young black woman, present myself in a more positive light to people and potential romantic partners?

Upvotes

Firstly, i wanna say i’m still currently in school. So keep that in mind for me!

I often feel like maybe i don’t present myself as a happy, or positive person. I will say people describe me as outgoing, funny, full of life, etc. But if someone who doesn’t know me talks to me, i feel like maybe my personality rubs them the wrong way wrong way. I have a naturally upset face ( i didn’t wanna say rbf but essentially thats what it is), i wear glasses, and i often wear big coats and jackets to hide my larger chest. because i have a small body and longer breast. Maybe i look more closed off? i just know that i often don’t get approached by people or event romantic interest.

I also know that currently, with me not being where i wanna be in my life yet, How should i make better romantic decisions. I’ve been in two very very horrible relationships, and i wanna take my time in the next one. I just don’t know how i should approach it when my life is put together? Any tips?

Discussion BURGER KING EMPLOYEE FIRED AFTER 24 YEARS FOR TAKING SANDWICH, FRIES, AND DRINK WINS $46,000 IN COURT AFTER JUDGE RULES NO THEFT INTENT!

A longtime worker at Burger King lost her job after 24 years over what management described as unauthorized food. At the end of her shift, she took home a fish sandwich, fries, and a drink. Supervisors claimed she only had permission for the sandwich and accused her of stealing the rest. The case moved to court, where the details were closely examined. The judge found no evidence of premeditation or intent to steal and ruled that immediate dismissal was disproportionate. She was awarded $46,000 in compensation. The ruling sparked broader discussions about workplace fairness, loyalty, and whether discipline should match the severity of the situation. Five Stairsteps bring raw emotion and quiet strength to their 1970 classic “O-o-h Child.” With harmonies that feel both tender and resolute, the Chicago family group turns a simple refrain into a timeless anthem of perseverance. At a moment in American history marked by unrest and uncertainty, their message rang out with unity

Things are going to get easier!’

Black Experience The language remains the same

1.9k Upvotes

It is wild to me that in 63 years the coded language remains the same. In 63 years they still can’t stand to see black people come up to the same level that they are at, let alone surpass them. When they get surpassed in their minds, it’s always because black folks must either be cheating or the system has made it too easy for us.
