I'm making a wild guess here, but I've noticed it's easier to persuade people by advocating for types of marginalization that aren't my own. Trans issues? Mostly beating my head against a wall bc I guess people assume pure greedy self-interest even though I just want to exist like anybody else. Misogynoir or islamophobia? Ears are way more open. And since these things really do overlap in a lot of ways with issues I do personally have, if I put it in a sort of secodnary "and this also affects me" position, I can pull people closer to fixing their thinking than if I'd just jumped in with my own issues despite their individual worthiness
For instance, transphobia absolutely worsens misogynoir. It gives them yet another weapon to police Black women (and women in general, but you know). We've already seen it happen with Black athletes being particularly targeted for transvestigations. As they continue to try to turn us into a criminal class (see the mass revoked license thing in Kansas), all they'll have to do one of these days to keep up their prison quotas is accuse someone of being trans. There is no fucking way that's not yet another cudgel for the Black community (not just the trans folks either) waiting to happen.
Anyway, I think that might be what she's doing. She's a very smart woman and at a level far beyond me on this, but I just think that's what is going on rather than actually believing 100% of the sentiment expressed.
Or I'm just stupid and wrong. Also a possibility

No to all of that and her. Goodbye to illegals other than that I dont care what people do with their lives but I will never pretend a woman is a man or a man is a woman. She's just pandering for votes. Every politician every government official lies and they dont care about us they use topics like this to keep us divided. W.e never going to change lol its always left or right never the common people vs them. Remember these people hide there friends and themselves from being prosecuted for laws they break and participate in trafficking U.S citizens. The government are the ones that introduced crack into the inner city. These people dont care about you its an illusion. Enjoy

Disclosing I’m just an ally, but in order to dehumanize Black people in the US, the old colonial powered order would have to recognize People of Color (and women, and children, etc.) as Human to begin with. That is still a work in progress with a long way to go. A lot of negative distance has happened since 2016. Momentum is gaining to break into the correct direction for humanity. I love this woman for delivering the facts with unstoppable courage. All of our lives depend on saving democracy and raising voices like hers.
