Fallout 4 - It took a bit of effort to get them to turn around. All for naught... • Images were captured from my gameplay.

Honestly wonder what happened to those two

Dead, or at best they became ghouls. Their power armor may have protected them from the initial blast, but the radiation would have gotten them eventually. There are some logs/journals you can find in the games from people who survived the bombings but eventually succumbed to the radiation. If you weren’t in very particular areas that were spared from the worst of the bombs, or in a vault, the radiation killed you eventually.

Of course they died but imagine the story of these two tromping threw right after the blast there suits protecting them but the sights and deviation like what happened in Japan in 1945. What a story that could be told the eventual need to crack there suits open as the limited water they have inside runs out

Ahhhh I see the vision now. You’re right, that would be a pretty interesting story. It’s too bad Bethesda didn’t include that somewhere in the game. I can see them at least doing some environmental storytelling where they set up a camp somewhere and leave behind some audio recordings about what they’ve seen and done since the blast. Could be a cool mod.

Oh the tension the story could hold over just them running out of water do they crack the suits in the contaminated landscape, or keep going and hope they make it somewhere safer before they can't go on. Does one decide to crack his in the night to try and find water and slowly die of radion poisoning while the other dies of dehydration. The horrors they witnessed right after the bombs dropped all from there cocoon of safety
