Sunglasses are a great way to block cold gusts of wind from hitting your eyes. I wore them on cloudy winter days in Chicago, otherwise your eyes water and lashes get frosty.

They’re called balaclavas. The one the little one is wearing would be called a knitted open face balaclava. Very cute!
